Who is TakeOutOnTheRun?
We are an on-demand multi-restaurant marketing and logistics service. Our mission is to provide restaurants with an online ordering platform that will increase the restaurants take-out volume. Our mission is to also deliver freshly prepared meals from your favorite local restaurants directly to your home, office, hotel room or special event. Our goal is to provide you with a delivery in a timely and efficient manner while displaying superior customer service. We will deliver what you want, when you want it, to where you want it!
How does your service work?
Simply log on your computer, use our mobile app or give us a call to place your order with the restaurant of your choice. We dispatch a mobile waiter to pick up the order, pack it in an insulated carrier bag and deliver directly to you. Most of the time the mobile waiter will be waiting at the restaurant when the food comes out of the kitchen to help ensure you receive your order hot and fresh.
How long does it take for a delivery?
Normal delivery time is generally between 45-60 minutes. However, delivery time may vary depending upon weather and traffic conditions, restaurant prep times, size of order, and or peak and overall business volume. Please know that we are working with some of the most popular restaurants in town and together we are working hard to provide the best customer service.
To reserve a specific delivery time, we encourage you to plan ahead and place your order well in advance. We accept orders hours, days, or weeks in advance. All advance orders will be given delivery priority.
ALL ORDERS SCHEDULED FOR 12PM DELIVERY MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 11:00 AM. ORDERS PLACED AFTER 11:00 AM WILL NOT BE ENSURED A 12 NOON DELIVERY.
Can I place orders from multiple restaurants?

No, unfortunately not at this time.
Should I tip the driver?
Of course! Our drivers are mobile waiters who work hard to serve you. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.Gratuity is not included in the delivery fee. We recommend a 15%-20% driver gratuity for their efforts in serving you. As an additional service and convenience to you, our customer service representative will offer to include the driver gratuity to the order on your behalf. Our drivers thank you in advance for your generosity.
What areas are available for delivery?
For quality of service reasons, delivery areas are limited to ensure your meal is delivered hot and fresh. Go to www.takeoutontherun.com and select your delivery area to see what restaurants are available to you. More delivery areas will be available soon.
Can I cancel my order?
In order to promptly and efficiently deliver your meals, we immediately transmit your order to the restaurant. Once we have confirmed your Internet/Fax order or concluded your telephonic communication with our customer service representative, the order is final. NO CANCELLATIONS are possible because upon transmission to the restaurant, we commit to pay the restaurant on your behalf. To request cancellation of an advanced order, please contact us at least 24 hours ahead of scheduled delivery.
How do I remove specific ingredients or add special requests for an entree while using the online ordering service?
When you choose an item, there will be a customize order button. Click customize order and type which things you would like to remove or which special request you would like to add.For example, if your sandwich normally comes with tomatoes and you would like to remove them, you would click customize order and type no tomato.
Are there any costs or fee for delivery?
Most restaurants selected have a food purchase minimum. All orders, large or small are subject to a delivery fee and a service fee. Delivery fees range depending on the distance of the order, starting at $2.99. A modest service fee can vary depending on the restaurant. Certain menu prices have been nominally adjusted to cover the additional costs associated with delivery. All required state and local taxes apply.
What types of payment are accepted?
A standard array of credit or debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are acceptable forms of payment. A processing fee is applied to all orders paid for with a credit card. SORRY NO CHECKS.
Cash Customers: Unfortunately, we are not accepting cash payments at this time.
All credit and debit cards are automatically pre-authorized prior to TakeOutOnTheRun placing your order with the restaurant. The temporary pre-authorization is provided by your banking institution for your protection/security. This temporary pre-authorization is controlled and eliminated by your banking institution.
What can I do to receive a FREE $50.00 TakeOutOnTheRun.com gift certificate?
If you are able to get us in contact with a restaurant(s) in our delivery area(s) and they sign up with us, then you will receive a $50.00 TakeOutOnTheRun.com gift certificate. The gift certificate is only valid on TakeOutOnTheRun.com orders. We will not accept emails, comments or phone calls that simply suggest your favorite restaurants. You must get us contact/owner information and a meeting with the restaurant in order to be eligible to receive the gift certificate. Once we have signed the restaurant up, you will receive your gift certificate. One $50.00 gift certificate is yours if you successfully help us add a restaurant to the TakeOutOnTheRun.com family!
By ordering online from our website you are authorizing TakeOutOnTheRun.com to call in, pay for, and deliver your order to you. We are providing this service to you and acting as your pick up agent. Prices and other terms and conditions associated with Take Out On The Run.com business activities, include but not limited to, delivery , company sponsored programs, company policies and procedures are subject to change without advance notice.
